International Video Festival DIGITALBIGSCREEN 2016

The digitalization in cinematography is finally finished in Slovenia. It enables presentation of new contents in a cinema theatre; amongst them also the video and all its derivatives/variations like video document or video performance. Until now video artists have been tied to TV or LCD screens, or screenings on smaller formats. Technical possibilities have therefore been a limiting factor. The international video festival Digitalbigscreen offers the visual artists engaged in video production the possibility to have their works shown on a big cinema screen. Compilation of selected videos will be also offered to Art Cinema Network of Slovenia (AKMS) to present as a part of their art cinema program.

The group are now asking video artists to submit their work.
