For this online exhibition, Las Laguna Art Gallery is looking for small works with big impact. There is no intended theme for the work; it just needs to fit the criteria of being “small art”. All mediums and subjects accepted. No works over 18 inches on either side, including frame, if framed.

ART LIVES HERE: 2023/2024 SEASON

Geffen Playhouse seeks four artists to create an original artwork to be displayed in our lobby welcoming back audiences this fall to celebrate our 2023/2024 Season. We are a home for the arts, and we believe our physical space should also reflect and be representative of our ongoing commitment to diversity in our audience, productions as well as our community at large. It is our mission to create, foster and nourish an environment that is open and welcoming for all.

Los Angeles based Curatorial Fellow

Prospect Art seeking a Los Angeles-based curator at any stage of their career to help support the BROADCAST arm of our programming, where we highlight media-based artists throughout the year.

The selected candidate will design a cohesive program comprising no less than four BROADCAST segments (open to the public online events ranging from screenings, Q&A with artists, and/or workshops) organized around a theme of his/her/their choosing.

The curatorial fellow will be given a year mandate to build bridges and make connections between the Los Angeles cultural art scene and artists worldwide. During this period, the selected candidate will serve on review panels for the yearly 4th-WALL International Video Open Call and the three annual NEW WORK Grant open calls.

Las Laguna Gallery is seeking submissions from artists creating works of art that tells stories.

The works can be open ended; thus, allowing the viewer to draw their own conclusions or the works can be designed to tell a story. Artworks submitted can relay apparent Anecdotes, Narratives, Plotlines or Parables.
