The Future is Now - Call for the Green Product Award 2024

For more than 10 years, the international Green Product Awards have been honouring products from companies and start-ups that stand out for their sustainability, design and impact. The annual theme of the Green Product Awards, The Future is now, is reflected in the key visual and in the accompanying special project: together with the German-Dutch architecture firm A01, the best participants of the Award 2024 will be integrated into a European version of the "No Footprint House" that won last year.

Durer.AI is excited to announce an Open Call for Durer Marketplace.

Durer is an advanced image generation platform that lets artists train custom AI models to understand their style and aesthetic then generate beautiful images with a simple prompt.

Soon we’ll be launching the Durer Marketplace, where artists are paid when images are generated with AI models trained on their work.

Requirements for Open Call:

  • Artists with a unique style

  • Mediums: collage, oil painting, inking, digital illustration, 3D illustration, watercolor 

  • These images must be gendered with a model trained on your work.

Porto Design Biennale 2023, Open Call for Satellite Projects

We invite designers and cultural agents to submit projects for the satellite programme of the Porto Design Biennale under the theme of the third edition, Being Water: How we flow together and shape each other. 

For this edition, is proposed a transdisciplinary laboratory platform of observation, reflection, creativity, and learning, which will act simultaneously in the visible and invisible, organic and inorganic, and ephemeral spectra of water. This platform-laboratory is “hydrated” through six proposals:

Hello Wood Festival - Builder Summit

The Hello Wood Builder Summit is now open to applications for students and aspiring team leaders from around the world.

After a three-year hiatus, the extraordinary summer school is back. The Builder Summit, Hello Wood’s greatest-ever event, is organised with the support of the Veszprém-Balaton 2023 European Capital of Culture and will be held in a post-apocalyptic basalt quarry in Hungary from July 6 to 15. The summer school will host more than 200 participants and later expects more than 1000 visitors at the closing music festival. The organisers are also happy to announce that it will be joined by international design superstars Karim Rashid, and Arthur Mamou-Mani who is well-known for his iconic structures designed for several Burning Man events.
