Small Plates Choreography Festival Austin TX

CALL FOR DANCE MAKERS

Applications are CLOSING SOON for Small Plates Choreography Festival, a series of two curated dance performances to be presented on Friday, October 4 and Saturday, October 5 at Ground Floor Theatre located in the nationally renowned eclectic artistic community of Austin, Texas.

Programming: Dance works of any dance genre up to 10 minutes in length will be considered for inclusion in one of two performances.

Istanbul Fringe Festival 2024

Istanbul Fringe Festival 2024 will welcome dance, performance and theater shows as well as workshops, talks and parties. The festival will offer both local and international artists a physical platform to showcase their works. This is a great opportunity for artists to meet and interact between themselves and the audience, exchange ideas while discovering a new artistic network.

What we offer to the selected artists:

 

- Transportation from and to the airport in Istanbul

- Meal on the day of your performance

- Venue, technical support* and promotion

- 300€ / show – 400€ / 2 shows (if on the same day) – 500€ / 2 shows (if not on the same day)

kNOwBOX dance Film Festival 2024 Open Call

In its 6th year as an independent international film festival, the
mission for the NBFF is to curate dance films that explore an
innovative approach to “challenging the possibilities of what dance
can look like in video form”.

Dance Films 1-10 minutes
A dance-related film 1-10 minutes. A dance film (Videodance, Dance for
Camera, Screendance, etc) is a dance-related film that challenges the
possibilities of what dance can look like in video form. Films are
created specifically for the screen, including shorts, narrative,
fiction, experimental, animation, multicultural, multi-genre, and
documentary films.

Call For Submission: HARP

One of the most robust residency programs of this nature in the country and serving as a national model, HARP provides a commission, developmental support, career planning, and an opportunity for a full production to hybrid artists within a collaborative environment of peers working across disparate art forms – including theatre, dance, music, puppetry, visual art, and new media. HARP provides significant long-term support, as well as at least $50,000 in cash and $50,000 in space, equipment, and services over 2-3 years to tailor each residency to each artist’s individual needs.

OPEN CALL - FORECAST MENTORSHIPS

Forecast has announced the six new mentors and its call for project ideas for the ninth edition of Forecast Mentorships.

Artistic practitioners and cultural producers working in all creative fields, anywhere in the world, are encouraged to apply to Forecast’s international mentorship program with projects that could benefit from the expertise of one of this edition’s mentors and their unique approach to material and knowledge production.

Send us your project ideas for the chance to work with one of the following mentors: Choreographer Alice Ripoll (BR), designer Fiona Raby (UK), photographer Lieko Shiga (JN), artist Theo Eshetu (UK), documentary filmmaker Tomer Heymann (IL), and composer and performer Ute Wassermann (DE).
