Park Ave Solo Exhibition Opportunity

Open Call for Submissions

About the exhibition:

Our company, Catapult Marketing, is looking to partner with a New York City-based artist for a solo gallery exhibition of 2D work titled A Brighter Tomorrow in our client’s Park Avenue storefront starting in February 2018. This exhibit will be part of an ongoing series celebrating local artists, and our client’s passion and patronage of the arts.

A Brighter Tomorrow will celebrate optimism, positive change, and the possibilities for a greater future through the perspective and imagination of local fine artists.

Creative Time's Open Call is now live!

New York’s leading public art nonprofit, Creative Time, invites artists to submit proposals for a public artwork. The call is open to New York City-based, practicing artists at a pivotal juncture in their career, who have not yet received a public commission or substantial support from a major cultural institution. Creative Time is most interested in ideas that take unconventional exhibition formats, speak to a pressing social issue, and engender public dialogue. The project should be timely, and hold the potential to spark critical public exchange. Proposals can range from the unassuming to a dramatic gesture — no specific size or scale.

Atlanta Print Biennial

The exhibit is organized by Atlanta Printmakers Studio and hosted by Kai Lin Art, a contemporary art gallery located in the vibrant Westside District of Midtown Atlanta, GA.

Encounter between traditional and contemporary art and craft practices

The Artpackers.life Residency Program is based on the idea of exploring and expressing the encounter between traditional and contemporary art and craft practices. It welcomes practitioners of all art forms (visual and performing), architecture and design, in an environment that provides time, space and inspiration.
Focused on experimentation, the principal mandate of this residency program is play – play with concepts, techniques, materials, colour etc. We encourage our artists to make mistakes, use this time to re-establish the link between imagination and actualization, and further develop their practices.
