outside outside objects is a space for emerging and early career designers to show their work, discuss their process and collaborate.

outside outside objects is an independent, artist-run print publication and collective. We publish work by emerging and early career designers and create community within the design realm through group critiques and collaboration. Through our platform, we establish connections between designers and promote their work.

Our publications are available to order online only and are created in small batches. Our collective is open to all designers who have been published in our magazine and meets periodically for group critiques and collaboration sessions. Our aim is to create community within the realm of young, underrepresented, talented designers and showcase their work to a broader audience.

FEE: $15

DUE: October 15th

ELIGIBILITY: Do you design furniture? Lighting? Textiles? Objects? Designers working in all media are encouraged to apply. You must be 18 years or older.

SELECTED DESIGNERS RECIEVE:

• a full 4 page spread that includes images of their work, a bio, and a brief interview with you
• promotion across our website and our social media outlets
• membership to the ooo collective where designers can participate in group critiques to get feedback on new or emerging works
• a free copy of the printed issue!

TO APPLY: Submit through our submittable platform and include the following.....

• 3-6 images or videos of work**
• short statement of design
