LNR Open Call. The Art Vitrine

Les Nouveaux Riches is pleased to announce the open call for the Les Nouveaux Riches Kunst-Schaukästen in Seeboden am Millstätter See. The 'Kunst-Schaukasten' (The Art Vitrine) is a curated presentation format by Les Nouveaux Riches. At Hauptstraße 84 in Seeboden am Millstätter See, the association curates an ongoing display of artworks from national and international artists throughout the year. The „Kunst-Schaukasten“ acts as an interface between art and the public, contributing a novel dimension to the public space.

Summer Open Call group exhibition

Court Tree Collective’s annual Summer group exhibition is quickly approaching. This year we are looking for two new artists to join the roster of the exhibition. With all mediums welcome, this is a great opportunity for artists to showcase their talents and connect with a wider audience. Our annual Summer group exhibition is a time for celebration of creativity and artistic expression. This adds an exciting element of anticipation for the exhibition. Past exhibitions  represented both emerging and established artists from around the world.

Curatorial theme:

What are the boundaries between public and private space?
Boundaries could be physical, such as borders between countries;  Boundaries also could be invisible, the world can appear so different from one to another. We all have different boundaries based on our various living experiences and cultural backgrounds. 

A boundary could be your skin or the clothes you wear, where keeping others out or hides your inner self.

Boundaries could be the disconnect between your thoughts and voice, the never ending sentence devoid of punctuation.
Rather than hold the boundaries of this space, we would like to hear the boundaries in your life.

We propose in this issue to reveal the theme of color. What role does color play in your life? What do you focus on when you use color in your works – is it about mood or feelings? Do you prefer to use color in your work in a limited way and make an accent or do you boldly add all existing shades?

We’re intrigued to see the perspectives of creators from different corners of the world and learn about your concepts!

Selection Criteria:
– International artists
– All-media are accepted (drawing, painting, collage, textile art, photography, art objects, sculpture, animation, etc.)
– The artist must be presented online (social pages, website, gallery profile)
