“Manga” Digital Art Contest

Draw, have fun and win prizes in Pixarra’s new illustration contest!

Pixarra is announcing a call for artists for a new digital art contest under the theme of “Manga”. Submission is free of charge and is not limited in the number of entries. 2D artists from around the world are invited to show their art.

All submissions must be digital paintings created with illustration software and the participants must have the full copyrights on them. Traditional art, photos, photo manipulations, collages and animation are not accepted.

Participants can submit their entries at www.pixarra.com/competition between August 25 and September 21, 2021.

Rolling Online Publication

Pigeon Review is seeking fine art submissions for publication to our online art and literary review. From a cluttered room or a cup of coffee to an inquisitive face, we like art that tells a story.  Pigeon Review is currently accepting work in the genres of portrait/figure, nature/landscape/plein air, still life, and narrative realism. Spook-Tacular Sticker Design Contest

Calling all Illustrators, Designers and Crafters! We are running another sticker design contest and this time it is “Halloween” themed! Design a sticker inspired by the Halloween Season! All Halloween themed entries will be eligible - whether it is a creepy creature, spooky spider, funny jack o’ lantern or a haunted hill-side house! Get creative with your entries. We want to see witches, ghouls, creatures, pumpkins, ghosts and more! This contest is FREE to enter and will run from August 3rd, 2021 until midnight on October 5th, 2021. Submit your original “Spook-Tacular” sticker illustration or design for a chance to win some great prizes! The top 3 winners will be chosen by a panel of talented Illustrators and Designers.

The Tropic of Color

It's Time.  Vestige Concept Gallery Presents: The Tropic of Color.  This exhibit seeks to showcase works of art from any style that feature idyllic scenes of "Paradise": islands, beaches, coves, hidden bays, tropical sunsets, oceans, pleasures, treasures, and romantic getaways. Vaporwave, Chillwave, Retrowave..   Artwork could also be night scenes, seaside bars, clubs, dancing, and/or a summer storm on the horizon... 

We are seeking artwork of any kind, from Emerging, Mid-Career, and/or Professional Artists. Work should somehow relate to the theme of the show.

"The Tropic of Color" In-Person opening reception party will be held Saturday, August 7th, at 6 PM.  Special live performance or DJ will accompany the event.
