NYC4PA Call for Entry - PORTALS

Portals is one of our favorite themes.  It allows for so much creativity capturing things that are all around wherever we may be.

Doors and windows and arches and frames and tunnels are so much a part of our lives. There are so many ways to think about them. We can look at them, or through them.  We can poke our hand out the window to test the weather, or just see a wonderful scene a little differently when framed by an arch or array of tree limbs in a park.

Visiting Artist Spotlight

The Visiting Artist Spotlight (VAS) exhibits active artists advancing the practice and discipline of photography. We are an emerging and aspirational team creating panoptic space for sustainable visual literacy and culture. The submission link details the opportunity.

Moments

Within the realm of art, time ceases to exist as a linear progression. Instead, it becomes an impression, allowing artists to freeze a single moment or a thing, preserving it in all its glory.

H2O

J. Mane Gallery invites submissions for its H2O online juried art exhibition.

"The heart of a man is much like the sea.  It has it's storms, it has it's tides and in it's depths it has it's pearls too."~Vincent van Gogh

Water is one of the most important elements for sustaining human life.  We live on a water planet.  It surrounds us, and we cannot live without it.

For this competition artists are encouraged to share their artistic vision and interpretation of water; the sea, the lake, a stream, the rain. The artwork can vary from realism to surrealism to abstraction. All artists over the age of 18, regardless of location or experience, are encouraged to submit their best inspired art and photography.
