Open Call: Care

Please apply at https://www.azaleaartscommunity.com/submit. Care is an online exhibition opportunity.

The deadline for Care is August 15th, 2024 and the entry fee is $6 for 3 images. Accepted participants will be notified two weeks after the deadline. The exhibition will go live on September 1st, 2024. Find updates on our Instagram and by subscribing to our newsletter! 1st Place will receive an ‘artist interview’ in addition to being promoted on our Instagram.

We invite artists to explore the theme of Care, in all its dimensions. Care is a fundamental aspect of the human experience that encompasses compassion, nurturing, protection, and concern. It can be expressed through personal relationships, societal structures, environmental stewardship, self-care, and beyond.

BRAC Artist Studios Program

Professional artist studios in BRAC's recently renovated building are now available for up to two
year residencies, on a year to year basis, for artists working in various visual art disciplines
including: painting, photography, sculpture, video, installation and new media. Selected artists
will have the opportunity to produce new work and make use of BRAC’s extensive resources in
support of their creative practices.

BRAC’s non-living studios are accessible Monday to Friday, 10am to 10pm, and on weekends
from 10am to 6pm. Each open-plan studio varies in size from 250 to 400 sq ft. and ranges in
price from $425 -$650.

Colors Art Competition

We are pleased to announce our 2nd Colors online Art Competition for the month of July 2024. 
The gallery invites artists and photographers from around the world to share their artistic vision 
using a concentration of one color or a multitude of colors. A variety of interpretations of Colors theme can be submitted (representative, abstract, conceptional). All visual art mediums are allowed. In addition to the selected artists, the jury will select 
award winners in the following art categories: painting, photography, sculpture. All selected artists will receive a digital award certificate.  Entry fees are $20 for two pieces of artwork.
