Celebrating our 62nd anniversary in 2024, the Seoul Institute of the Arts and Dongnang Arts Foundation stand as the oldest private arts institution of higher education in Korea. Since our establishment, we have been dedicated to pioneering new forms of art, grounded in the rich artistic spirit and traditions of Korea. Through experimentation and interdisciplinary exploration, we strive to discover innovative methods of artistic expression and create content for the global stage.

The Seoul Institute of the Arts and Dongnang Arts Foundation invite applications from qualifying candidates worldwide. We welcome teaching artists who are enthusiastic about the creation and education of the arts for the future.

Required Qualifications for All Candidates:

• Candidates must be either Korean nationals or non-Korean individuals who meet all legal requirements for faculty positions at private institutions.

• Successful candidates will demonstrate expertise in innovating educational methodologies and enhancing specialized art education in the global and digital era, in alignment with the founding mission of Seoul Institute of the Arts.

Desired Qualifications for All Candidates:

• Proficiency in English is preferred. For non-Korean candidates, preference will be given to those who can speak Korean.

• Ten years of experience and significant achievements in the relevant field.
 

Full-time Faculty at School of Design (Professor of Fashion Photography, Photography Program)

Required Qualifications:

• Must hold a Master’s degree in the relevant or a related field.

• Over ten years of experience in advertisement photography and video in the fashion industry.

• A minimum of five years of experience teaching in the “Specialization Area” at a higher education level (academic courses only).
