Art and Color 365 Magazine Oils Art Competition

It’s part of Art and Color 365’s mission to celebrate artists for the unique perspectives, amazing skills, beautiful imagery, and creativity they contribute to the world. We do this through regular feature stories in our magazine about significant artists and with monthly art competitions that showcase artists to bring them greater attention and offer broader outreach for their work. Art and Color 365, a bi-monthly digital and print art magazine, announces its 2023 Oils Art Competition. Entries will be accepted through November 12, 2023. All winners (1st, 2nd, and 3rd place); Winners Tier, which includes artwork that was considered for the top three awards; Special Merit; Artistic Recognition Award Recipients; and Honorable Mentions will have their artwork featured in the Late Fall/Winter issue of the magazine. Winners and award recipients will be notified by email. Additionally, Art and Color 365 will write feature stories for the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Place winners. Artists may submit artwork created with oil paints. Mixed-media entries are acceptable if oils are the primary medium used in the artwork. Artwork can be of any subject in any artistic style. All works must be original. “Original” means that the work must be created from the hand of a single artist and not be taken from other artists’ work or materials for which you do not hold the copyright. Artwork subjects and compositions may not be derived from other artists’ artwork or from artwork published in print or online. Copying another artist’s work or digitally drawing on top of another person’s photography or artwork does not qualify as original art. No AI artwork, please.
