International Open Call for Art: PULSE: The Global Beat Submission Deadline: September 15th, 2024 Midnight EST

Gallery 44 invites artists to submit works in all media for an upcoming virtual exhibition and print magazine focused on patterns and rhythms from around the world. This unique opportunity invites creators from all corners of the globe to delve into the intricate and captivating world of repetitive forms and the dynamic flow of movement, sound, and time.

Patterns and rhythm are fundamental elements in art, nature, and everyday life. They can be found in the regularity of geometric designs, the cadence of a musical piece, the structured chaos of urban environments, and the organic sequences in natural landscapes. This open call seeks to celebrate these universal concepts through a diverse array of artistic expressions.

Submission Guidelines:

●  You must be a working artist over the age of 18.

●  If accepted we will ask you for high-quality digital photos to create prints from.

●  You agree to sell your work as an open edition print.

●  Time base media is welcome. Please include in addition to your video, a “still” image from the time

based media to sell as a print.

●  Submissions should include a brief description (3 sentences maximum) explaining the concept.

●  All submissions must be original works created by the artist.

Submission Fee: 20 USD per artist send to VENMO @G44-PrismPress

(Please make sure your name appears on both the email submission and payment.)

Sales and Commission:

All accepted artworks will be sold through the gallery as open-edition prints measuring approximately 20 x 20 inches depending on dimensions of art for $80 USD each.
The artist will receive a $40 USD commission for each artwork sold no matter the country of origin of the artist and their local currency. 
Artworks will be printed and mailed by the gallery.

Important Dates:

Submission Deadline: September 15th, 2024

Notification of Acceptance: October 15th
Exhibition and Publication Dates: November 1st, 2024 - January 11th, 2025

1. Include your name, contact information, artwork titles, and descriptions in your submission email with images of 3 works maximum IN A SINGLE PDF  attached to the email.

2. Payment of the submission fee can be made via VENMO @G44-PrismPress, (We also prefer to pay our artists via Venmo, so please sign up.)
