Open call: Biodiversity Fingerprint Public Artwork Commission

Proposition is commissioning a major temporary public artwork to encourage viewers to think about the potential for humans to have a positive impact on our planet’s ecology.

The artwork will be displayed on Proposition Camden’s Northwest façade, facing the Roundhouse. Envisaged as a digital print on fabric, the artwork will be 15m wide by 9m high.

Newport Beach Civic Center Sculpture Exhibition

The City of Newport Beach (City) announces a call for entries for Phase IX of its ongoing Sculpture Exhibition to further activate the splendor of its Civic Center Park. Up to ten artworks may be selected and showcased for two years in the 14-acre, ocean-view site specially designed by renowned landscape architect Peter Walker as an intended sculpture garden.

The Civic Center is the heart of Newport Beach - home to City Hall, administrative offices, and the spectacular Central Library building. And the Park welcomes residents and visitors year-round for free concerts on the lawn, art shows, docent-led sculpture tours, visits to the dog park, or leisurely trail walks among the environmentally-friendly native plant life.

Request for Proposals- Art Installation for West Dominick Street Art Walk

The City of Rome is requesting proposals from any professional artist or artist teams for a Sculpture or
Installation for the West Dominick Street Art District. West Dominick Street is a major commercial
corridor that is home to a number of small businesses and a vibrant art community within downtown
Rome. This roadway provides residents and visitors access to the Capitol Theatre Complex,
restaurants, cafes and art studios. Due to the large presence of the arts and cultural district, the Erie
Boulevard BOA recommended public art installations be sited along West Dominick Street as a way to
promote the art community and rich history within the City of Rome.

ArtPrize Call for Artist Submissions

ArtPrize is an international art competition that takes place in downtown Grand Rapids, Michigan, from September 14th - October 1st. ArtPrize awards over $400,000 directly to artists through both popular and juried voting. ArtPrize also distributes over $200,000 in annual artist grants.
