PRESTAGE - the independent fashion stage.

The concept of PRESTAGE is: ‘Ode to the fashion talents.’ PRESTAGE is a biannual magazine showcasing promising creatives in fashion, illustration and photography through originally produced editorials, interviews and talentpages. PRESTAGE sets Dutch fashion into an international context. PRESTAGE supports both emerging and established brands and talents, pays homage to international well- known names, while championing the new and the next. PRESTAGE wants to inspire and encourage the reader to follow their dreams and ambitions.

PRESTAGE features the best of what fashion has to offer – the world’s leading models, photographers and stylists – but does so always in ways uniquely PRESTAGE.

THE WEBSITE is a place for experimental work and special projects. It's a visual and sensoral explosion of project based collaborations made by some of our favourite photographers, stylists, artists, film makers, writers and designers, all commissioned specially for the site. It's not updated every nano-minute of every blog-induced-churnalistic second, because we want to take the time to put some good-lookin' stuff together.

A MAGAZINE is a biannual publication, exploring the creative sphere of a selected designer in each issue. We invite a guest curator – an international fashion designer, group or house – to develop innovative, personalised content that expresses their aesthetic and cultural values.

Each issue celebrates this designer’s ethos: their people, their passion, their stories, emotions, fascinations, spontaneity and authenticity. As such A MAGAZINE exists as an entirely dynamic title – a cultural statement for individuality in an increasingly homogenous industry.

Centered around A MAGAZINE’s guest curator is a team of editors, with content provided by an international network of contributors and collaborators. Each of these creative relationships with an artist, photographer, musician, graphic designer etc. starts with a conversation. This artistic dialogue leads to beautiful projects, special friendships and a fusion of explosive talent to create work that transcends the ordinary. A MAGAZINE is a unique niche product both on the conceptual and advertorial level. Alongside purely artistic content, we create hybrid promotional opportunities for collaborators, enabling the production of site-specific content that goes beyond common commercial restrictions.

Each A MAGAZINE is a new story waiting to be told.

Pop

Pop is a British fashion magazine co-founded in 2000 by Ashley Heath and editor Katie Grand. The initial creative directors for the magazine were Lee Swillingham and Stuart Spalding. Pop is published bi-annually.

In 1999, the publishing house Emap enticed Grand to leave Dazed & Confused—a magazine founded by Rankin and Jefferson Hack—and invited her to work on the cult magazine The Face, as the magazine's official fashion director. At the same time Emap offered her a position as Editor-in- Chief of an as-yet unnamed new magazine. The first issue of Pop was launched in September 2000. Grand said that her main concept was that "it to be really jolly. And pink — I was obsessed with it being pink."

Grand left Pop in 2008, along with creative directors Swillingham and Spalding, to establish a rival magazine, Love, published by Conde Nast.

Pop has now relaunched in an online digital format as THEPOP.COM. The first issue will be out on 1st September 2009. Dasha Zhukova was hired as editor-in-chief with Ashley Heath as the Editorial Director and David Girhammar as an editor.
