Bauman’s vision has allowed us to see the world we live in as an interconnected fabric, as the same technologies that we use daily determine our existence in the world, where space and time are less and less experienced as an obstacle, and where someone’s actions in a certain place can have immediate repercussions in another place.

Every discovery, invention or creation, reveals the innate human need to create contacts and establish connections with others, with self and with reality, in the form of objectives and interests.

"Drifting Vision" invites digital artists to explore themes inspired by the book *Wayward*. This open call celebrates the intricate dance between digital realms and narrative, urging artists to delve into themes of transformation, resilience, and the power of women's voices. In a world that often feels adrift, artists are encouraged to anchor their work in stories of strength, innovation, and the quest for meaning.

​Las Laguna Art Gallery is featuring this 9 month long, online exhibition, to explore the role of Art in today's political landscape. This exhibition is looking for any work that the artist considers to be 'political' or politically themed, in nature.

This is an online exhibition that will run from July 1st, 2024 through the end of April 2025.
