Open Call ReA! Art Fair 2025

Beginning May 15th the open call dedicated to emerging Italian and international
artists to participate in the fifth edition of ReA! Art Fair will be open. The fair
dedicated to emerging contemporary art, the only one of its kind in Italy, now in its
fifth edition, will open in Milan in spring 2025.
The last edition of ReA! Art Fair, which closed in November 2023, recorded over 5,000 visitors,
including collectors, sector operators and art enthusiasts who were able to appreciate the works of
100 emerging artists from over ten countries. More than 32% of the artists participating in the fair
sold their works during the days open to the public, a percentage that increases every year.
Now in its fifth edition, ReA! Art Fair aims to establish its role as an alternative fair format,
between the Degree Show and the art fair. The artist-oriented approach focuses on artists who can
participate without the mediation of a gallery. Added to this is the curatorial approach which
presents the event as a single and organic exhibition ensuring the quality of the works presented to
the public.
From May 15th, emerging artists and young creatives will be able to sign up for the Open Call to
participate in the fifth edition of ReA! Art Fair, which will be held in April 2025 in Milan and will
host the works of 50 artists selected by the curatorial team, which, for this important edition, has
decided to reduce the number to provide even more direct support to each creator.
Through the fair, the ReA Arte Association carries out its mission of supporting the work of
emerging artists, providing young talents with a space in which to exhibit their works, meet
collectors, galleries and cultural institutions, make themselves known to a wide audience
and offers them a real growth and sales opportunity.
You can submit your application from May 15th to October 1st 2024.

How to participate
The call is open to all Italian and international visual artists, by completing the application on the
website www.reafair.com/open-call.
Required information for the application includes:
1. Artist Statement,
2. Updated portfolio,
3. Bio and CV/Resume of the artist.
Registrations for the call are divided into two parts. From May 15th to June 30th, thanks to the
"Early Bird" mode, it is possible to send your application with a registration fee of €40.00. From
July 1st until the closing of the announcement the fee is €55.00.
The exhibition has no thematic constraints and includes the following categories: Painting, Drawing,
Photography, Video, Performance, Sculpture, Mixed Media, Digital Art, Street Art and, again this year,
NFT.
The selection of the artists will be carried out by the curatorial committee after the collection of all
the applications. The 50 selected artists will be announced on social media and via newsletter the
31st of October 2024.
The selected artists will be able to see their works presented in a curatorial project of international
scope, created specifically for the event with the utmost attention. There is no additional cost for
the days of exhibition and the proceeds from sales will go directly to support their artistic
work.
Participants will also have the opportunity to compete for the awarding of prestigious prizes in
collaboration with other cultural collaborators. In recent years, in addition to cash prizes, the
winning artists have had the opportunity to access artist residencies in Italy and participate in a
collective exhibition.

The ReA Arte Association
ReA Arte is a non-profit association founded in 2020 on the initiative of a group of young
professionals under 35 engaged in the art sector. By integrating different backgrounds - from
curatorial training to cultural communication and fundraising - the organizers gather around a
common purpose: promoting art and culture through the support of emerging artists, guaranteeing
their accessibility to the sector and fair opportunities. Added to this objective is that of bringing the
public closer to an inclusive and transparent art market. Over the years of activity, the association
has expanded and consolidated, now counting a multidisciplinary team of over 15 professionals.
Around this mission ReA! Art Fair was born, the association's main event, which will reach its fifth
edition in 2025. The fair is accompanied by other exhibitions, collaboration activities, and cultural
institutions including the ReA! Education & Consulting training department, which offers
workshops and consultancy services dedicated to emerging artists and sector operators with the
aim of transmitting specific skills to present themselves and work in the contemporary art market,
in a strategic and efficient way.
